The Bandshell at The World’s Most Famous Beach

The Bandshell was built as a community-use project by the Federal Government Works Progress Administration during the depression. The inaugural concert was held July 4, 1937. The Bandshell is still a wonderful place to enjoy beachfront outdoor entertainment.

The Daytona Beach Pier

Over the years, the pier has withstood the pounding surf, fires, and hurricanes, but it still stands just as it was built in 1925. Enjoy a day at the beach with a stroll on the pier.

Coquina Clock Tower - Daytona Beach Oceanfront Park

Built in 1938 and added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1999, the clock tower's unique design has been proudly standing 30 feet high and withstanding the elements for more than 85 years.

Ponce de Leon Lighthouse - Ponce Inlet, Florida

During its humble beginnings in 1883, the lighthouse was originally known as the Mosquito Inlet Lighthouse. After three years of construction, it was completed in 1886. For much of its long history, the light house was staffed by a Lighthouse Keeper who kept the light burning. The Keeper and his family resided on the lighthouse property. The lighthouse experienced many changes during its long history as improvements were made to light sources and lens design until it became fully automated in 1953, and the last keeper and their families left for good.
Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark that has been restored and is operating as a museum

The Cupola

The Cupola is the only remaining part of the original famous Hotel Ormond. Built in 1887 by John Anderson and Joseph Price, it was sold to Henry Flagler in 1890. He expanded it, and it became one of the premiere hotels for the rich and famous of the time. After multiple ownership and use changes, the hotel was demolished in 1992. The Cupola now stands in Fortunato Park at the base of the Granada Bridge on John Anderson Drive.
